Marie Klein joined the Center for Family Business (CFB-HSG) and the Swiss Institute for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SME-HSG) at the University of St. Gallen (HSG) in September 2021 as a Ph.D. student. Prior to that, Marie completed her master's in Strategic Entrepreneurship at the Jönköping International Business School (JIBS) in Sweden and did an exchange semester at the University of St. Gallen (HSG) as part of it. Marie completed her bachelor's degree in business administration at the IUBH in Bad Honnef.

2017: Rooms Division Intern at Marcopolo Hotels in Hong Kong

2016 until 2019: Working student at Simon-Kucher & Partners in Bonn, Germany

Marie is a teaching assistant for the Family Business course taught by Prof. Dr. Thomas Zellweger.
